LEED Zero Carbon for Dockyard – a goal that is unique in Germany

Our project is currently aiming for LEED Zero Carbon certification – an award that only 44 buildings worldwide have received to date. If Dockyard obtains this certification, it will be the only building in Germany with this status.

Built using a hybrid timber construction method, Dockyard is located directly on the River Spree and is already one of the most sustainable office buildings in the country. An innovative energy concept with an ice storage facility the length of a soccer field and the use of renewable energy sources such as geothermal energy, solar energy, and ambient air enable climate-neutral building operation. Dockyard will have a total of four certifications in the future.

Dockyard shows how sustainable working environments can be created when architecture, technology, and sustainability merge into a shared vision.
